2. Services

Secure Bytes will use reasonable endeavours to adhere to any dates proposed by either Secure Bytes or the User for the provision of Services, however any such date is to be treated as an estimate only and the Company accepts no liability for failure to meet such dates.

Secure Bytes will use all reasonable endeavours to provide reliable Services, however it is not practicable to provide all such Services free of any faults and Secure Bytes does not undertake to do so. In the event of a fault in Services, the User must report the fault by telephone, or through its online helpdesk. Upon receipt of the fault report, Secure Bytes will take all proper steps without undue delay to correct the fault. Secure Bytes shall not, in any event, be liable for interruptions of Services or downtime of a Server.

Secure Bytes may

(a) temporarily suspend for the purpose of repair, maintenance or improvement, part or all of Secure Bytes’s Services, generally without notice;

(b) give or update instructions regarding the use of the Service which in Secure Bytes’s reasonable opinion is necessary in the interests of safety, or to maintain or improve the quality of Services to the User and any such instructions shall whilst they are in force, be deemed to form part of any Agreement;

(c) vary the technical specification of Service for operational reasons.

Secure Bytes  will use reasonable efforts to keep interruptions as brief as possible and preferably use night times (02:00 to 05:00 a.m.) for any required workings. The Company undertakes to use reasonable endeavours to restore Services as soon as practicable after any such suspension.

Where Secure Bytes uses any third-party services, site search facilities, chatroom, email, web services or search engines’ submission services, Secure Bytes cannot be held responsible for those third-party service commitments, quality or availability.

Secure Bytes may correct any typographical or other errors or omissions in any brochure, promotional literature, quotation or other document relating to the provision of the Services without any liability to the User.

Secure Bytes may at any time without notifying the User make any changes to the Services which are necessary to comply with any applicable safety or other statutory requirements, or which do not materially affect the nature or quality of the Services.

3. Refund Policy

Secure Bytes Inc. has a No Refund Policy on all of our software applications and bundles. We do this because we offer free, 15 days Demo Version of our software that you can download and try before you buy. These trial versions allow you to test the software before you decide to make a purchase. Once anyone makes the purchase and the license key has been created there is no refund. As your issue about the license strictly based on the IP address, it is a standard practice in security software industry. It doesn’t mater to us either IP addresses external and internal. If anyone buying 10 IP addresses licenses and running them on 25 IP addresses basically violating the Software Licenses Agreement.

4. Privacy Statement

We are committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to our Web Site. Secure Bytes analyses aggregate and non-personally identifiable data relating to usage of the Web Site. Information provided at the time of registration or submission will be used to provide the requested information and may be used for marketing research relating to Secure Bytes. It will not be used for any unsolicited communication to users unless so authorised by them. Secure Bytes will use its best endeavours to ensure that such data is kept secure at all times. Moreover, Secure Bytes does not sell, rent or otherwise make available any personal data submitted by visitors to its Web Site to any third parties unless required to do so by law. Upon request, Secure Bytes will remove user’s personal information from its database thereby cancelling their registration
